The website is free in 37 languages, and you can buy audio files to download in some languages Its main strength is that it teaches a large number of single words, in collections like animals or parts of the body, so you can learn what interests you. You cannot suppress spelling in the target language, so you cannot learn just by ear.
The audio files have pauses for you to repeat. They say each word once in each language. To get practice, you will need to replay the file many times. 28 of the 37 languages have bilingual audio files with English, but only a few other pairs are available. For example English-Italian is $20, and English-Hungarian is $20, but Hungarian-Italian is not available. If you speak Italian and want to learn Hungarian, you can buy the English-Hungarian, translate the text (available on line) so you know what you are listening to. $20 is for a full collection of lessons. Each lesson is 50 cents.
The website explains lessons in all 37 languages.
