Lonely Planet phrase books in 6 languages include 1 CD each ($9-13 per language). They do not offer examples but seem similar to Behind the Wheel, though briefer. The book has far more words than the CD. An Amazon review says the CD is only in the target language, with no sound effects or other way to understand, except from the book.

They offer 300 words and phrases in each of 17 languages, usually $15-40 per language. The few Amazon reviewers generally like them. These used to be sold by Lonely Planet, but now they are sold independently. Like the current Lonely Planet audio, the CD seems to be entirely in the target language, and the book shows the meaning.
